Frozen Fruity Yogurt Pizza: Kids’ Favorite for Summer

Close up of the frozen yogurt fruity pizza

With this Frozen Fruity Yogurt Pizza, you will captivate your kids with a delicious cooling snack for a hot day!

If your kids are like mine, the word “pizza” is on the top of their minds pretty much ALL day, every day.

I thought about a way to give fruits in a new, creative way to my kids, so they can have healthy sweets during a common hot summer day.

Looking for inspiration, I found sweet pizza recipes and I knew a frozen version would be great to try!

Super-healthy and packed with summer flavors

Frozen Yogurt Fruity pizza ingredients: strawberries, blueberries, mango, shredded coconut, and yogurt

My version has no added sugars, but it’s packed with fruity flavor and color. For the fruity toppings, I used pieces of mango, strawberries, and blueberries.

Some optional toppings I love are chia or hemp seeds, an assortment of nuts, and unsweetened coconut. All of these are packed with good fats and the energy our kids need for all their outdoor and indoor summer fun.

If you have tried frozen yogurt with fruits, you might already know which are your favorite combinations. You can think about the favorite flavors for your kids, thinking about some fruits they love and others you’d like them to try.

Colors are important too because they will make it more appealing for your kids. That’s why I chose vibrant colors for the toppings.

For extra convenience -or fun- you can pick any shape for your bark. You’ll only need to use a pan in the proper shape.

Depending on your pan’s shape, you might find that covering it with parchment paper can become a bit complicated. No worries, brushing a bit of butter along the edges will help on the missing spots.

Sliced frozen yogurt pizza

Once your fruity yogurt pizza has frozen and you take it out of the freezer, you will need to wait a couple of minutes before cutting the slices to serve. However, bear in mind that it melts quickly, so it’s better to take it out of the fridge once your kiddos are near to eat it!

Find all the ingredients and detailed instructions below.
