Dalgona Candy Recipe

Dalgona candy has just two ingredients, but it can be challenging to get it right!

Equipment

  • Stainless steel laddle
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Line a large plate or a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add sugar in a stainless steel soup ladle. Place it directly over a medium-low flame, and stir the sugar with a chopstick until it starts melting.
  • When sugar melts and changes its color to amber, remove the ladle from the heat.
  • Add a pinch of baking soda and stir until you get a light brown color.
  • Pour the mixture onto the plate in a circle.
  • Spray the flat side of your flat object with oil and press the candy to get a thin disc of Dalgona candy.
  • To create your favorite shapes, use a cookie cutter.
  • Let the Dalgona candy to cool and enjoy!
